The Tian group is located in the Gordon Center for Integrative Science (GCIS), which houses among others the Biological Science Division, the Physical Science Division, and the James Franck Institute. The building was completed in 2005 and was constructed in an effort to promote cross-discipline collaboration. The GCIS is located on the western end of the University of Chicago’s campus, along E. 57th street, and E. Ellis.
